Une nouvelle notion revient tr\u00e8s souvent. Elle est d\u00e9nomm\u00e9e \u00ab&nbsp;Expected Goals&nbsp;\u00bb not\u00e9 \u00ab&nbsp;xG&nbsp;\u00bb. Que sont les&nbsp;Expected Goals&nbsp; ? A quoi servent-ils et qui les utilisent ?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Que sont les&nbsp;Expected Goals&nbsp; ?&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une statistique particuli\u00e8re. Elle ne rapporte pas \u00e0 l\u2019issu d\u2019un match, une donn\u00e9e standard tel le nombre de passes, la perte de ballon ou le nombre de but. Les Expected Goals sont des chiffres compris entre 0 et 1. Ils indiquent la probabilit\u00e9 qu\u2019un tir soit transform\u00e9 en but autrement dit, la dangerosit\u00e9 qu\u2019il procure. Un tir du milieu du terrain aura un xG proche de 0 alors qu\u2019un tir dans la surface de r\u00e9paration \u00e0 3 m de la ligne de but et dans l\u2019axe, aura un xG proche de 1.
